JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong has taken over China as well.
The music video of ‘MINE’, which was released on the 17th as a part of Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album ‘I’, has topped the Korea V Charts of China’s biggest music video site ‘YinyueTai’ (www.yinyuetai.com).
Kim Jaejoong’s ‘MINE’ entered the charts at the #1 spot in only five days since being released with a wide margin between it and second place.
YinyueTai’s V Charts bases its rankings on the points awarded to the music videos by fans. It has been known as the most accurate gauge of popularity within China.
A representative of the Chinese media stated, “Kim Jaejoong’s album will receive much love in China,” and “It is garnering attention as a refreshing album that breaks free from the typical dance music by idol groups, and the high-quality music video has already captured the hearts of fans in China.”
Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album topped the daily, real-time and weekly Hanteo charts in just four days. The pre-released track ‘One Kiss’ had also topped the iTunes rock charts in nine countries such as Japan, Singapore and Taiwan as soon as it was released.
