I once read comments of yours in youtube, also on DBSKnights, those weren’t nice comments towards DBSK. Why keep commenting on their articles when its obvious you are not OT5 so your comments will always reflect that you judge DBSK and find them wanting. Can’t you just accept you’re JYJ biased and keep the negative feelings you feel for DBSK for yourself? at least on an OT5 site such as this one?

I wish I could enjoy like you do. But after all it is still music we talk about. If they don’t sing well, I can’t enjoy. I guess I am just being picky. For example Why song, it is not my style but I still have to admit the song suits them well and they sang perfectly. I am just being honest here. and I won’t be affected by either Homin’s fans or JYJ’s fans to speak my opinion. Waiting for webcams of their own songs.

There is a reason why Yunho never got any big part in DBSK’s ballad … his voice don’t fit in … without Changmin he would be in the biggest shit ever … !

- Wow… I guess you’re just a fan of 4 members of TVXQ or more like 3 members of TVXQ. Personally, I do think Yunho’s voice does fit in on their ballad songs. You are just have a big a**hole. Have you ever thought that Changmin and Yunho did not have enough time to practice the old TVXQ songs until it’s perfect. I will bet that as a-nation go on, they will gradually or exponentially improve. Look at Rising Sun, I think Changmin and Yunho did extremely well and it was a song sung by 5 members of TVXQ too. JYJ have a lot of talent but so do Changmin and Yunho. If you would rather listen to covers of TVXQ songs, then don’t listen to Changmin and Yunho’s version of their songs. They are trying to keep TVXQ alive so their name and songs will not be forgotten. They are not doing this to torment fans. God, you just called Yunho three different names… How disrespectful.

- I don’t think JYJ would have been able to pull it off either,sometimes thier harmonizations are off as well,but it’s easier with 3 members than 2.As much as I would have loved 1 or 2 people to harmonize with them(add extras just for old ballad performances)this fandom would explode even worse.I’ve always felt)personal opinion)that Yunho and Yoochun are on par with each other singing wise.But there are times when performers are not at thier best wheather they be tired or whatnot.I’m personally not a fan of Junsu’s voice,but he’s a good singer.You don’t seem to like Yunho,is it because of the lawsuit(the whole blame the leader gig)or both(with his voice).I do think Yunho just like Yoochun has a nice voice.Just curious.But I do agree with you on Changmin’s voice though.All fans are sensitive both JYJ & Homin stans & OT5′s as well.

- @don, yunho’s voice did suck, as you put it, even when they were 5, he wasn’t horrible but not great. i’ve always only admired his dancing, and his cuteness. he’s ok at singing when he’s singing with other people. honestly, the only solo songs i would watch from when they were still 5 was junsu and jaejoong. but they’re great as 5 because they really hold each other well/blend in. having operation or not, i don’t think he’s voice was that great to begin.

And also after performing rising sun and superstars with so much dancing and singing…to still have vocals after to perform 5 more songs…that in itself is quite amazing. I wished that others that comment don’t compare the past with the present, cause it never be the way it was. I think that’s the risk and burden of using the name TVXQ/Tohoshinki, they will forever living with the shadow of the past, maybe 8 years later people who have known and used to listen to Tohoshinki music for years will get used to 2 voices only but as of this time it’s really impossible to strip those 5 voices in people’s memory. If they only use Homin, people will appreciate and credit them as duo. They claim they are Tohoshinki, and one big price they have to pay to that great band name is to be always compared to the original who made that name that great. As duo,their companies (avex/sm) give them an instant, ready made history proven popularity, when people listen to them singing their old songs, it’s inevitable to look back because what was shown in the past was really, really BEAUTIFUL. How could a true lover of music can just settle for a good performance when he/she has heard the BEST ONE. Homin are good as duo but THSK5 is the best .

They worked hard to sing that song yet some people didn’t appreciate. If you think this hurt you, if you think this incomplete, what would Yunho and Changmin feels.
They sing for fans yet fans judging them. Can’t you just enjoy what the boys give to you?

Yunho might be lack of talent in singing. But he definitely improved. Maybe the way he sing Stand By U this time not really good but I already watch DB5K live where Yunho impressed me.

If you don’t like it, because JYJ are not the one who sing it, don’t listen or watch it. Respect others. Give them some credit. I admit I don’t really like the way Yunho sing the chorus but that doesn’t mean he’s bad.

I want this song being sing by 5 of them but the current situation didn’t allow it and I don’t know if I can listen and watch them singing again. But to have only HoMin sing this song is fine with me. At least is them, 2 of the members of DBSK. HoMin you did a great job for having a courage to sing this. I applaud you. I feel sad they decided to stay in a place where they don’t even have the slightest control over their setlist.

But, tbh, I think they do have a choice. What will SM do to HoMin if they said they didn’t want to sing SBU. Drop them? HM makes them too much money for that.

If two men in their 20s who have any respect for themselves as artists can’t even do something as simple as say they don’t want to sing a certain song (when they have many more songs to choose from), then that’s a very sad thing indeed.

- They can make them become inactive until Yunho goes to the army,in which by then some fans would leave.They were inactive for almost 2 years,if they were to give any trouble they could make them inactive longer.Homin may make money but SNSD(Korea),SUJU(international),Shinee(gaining momentum) are more profitable,besides SNSD fanbase is probably bigger since the fanclub isn’t split?.Though I hope they do decide to leave once thier contracts up and hopefully sign with JYP or YG.

Jaejoong is right. If its TVXQ5 songs, not 1, 2 or 3 can sign it right again. I wished that TVXQ2 sang their new songs more than the TVXQ5 songs. They din’t do any justice to it, Im sorry. On the contrary, they murdered it. So i hope Yunho is bale to reflect, that what he and Changmin did was not to protect TVXQ at all. What he and Changmin did is desicrate what was considered by fans ‘holy’ and “glorious” during their TVXQ5 days. It would have been better to just keep those glorious memories, raher than sing it incomplete. What Homin is doing right now is hurting our memories of the glorious TVXQ! Fans do not deserve it. Homin do not deserve this. They should have asserted to SM and Avex, if they really mean to protect TVXQ. I am so sad for homin here. I pity them in fact. Just my opinion as a loyal fan.

They do not sing these songs because they eagerly want it..lots of people wanted to hear it after such a long time..i do admit that it sounds incomplete, but at least we got to hear it again..homin are trying their best to sing the song that is actually sang by 5 people, and it sounds great..its better for homin to sing their past songs than some random group singing their db5k songs..
1 more thing, they cannot avoid singing thsk5 song, can they?

LOL my last comment was to make people calm down and just stop with all the hate from BOTH sides. Look I am a causal DBSK fan, so I always find arguments like these pointless I mean in the end not everyone can have the same opinion so why the hell get angry? Also if someone thinks they sound bad that doesn’t mean they are a hater or “anti” it just means that TO THEM it sounds bad, duh it doesn’t have to always have a double meaning. Criticism an’t bad guys its NORMAL, I mean I ADORE Coldplay, John Mayer, Josh Groban BUT not all their songs are good and they aren’t perfect. This is one of the things that makes me iffy about the K-pop fandom I mean its SOO intense! You must either like everything they do & believe they are gods or criticize them and become labeled as a hater meaning that you should die a horrible death in the depths of hell. (intense I know)
Amigos just calm down I mean to fans who have been fans for a long time its hard to accept something new especially when their eyes and ears have been accustomed to hearing the harmony of 5 voices. Changmin & Yunho are doing their best. I am a little sad but they have the right to sing the songs. They are TVXQ now.

I love JYJ too. This is really hard but I’m going to enjoy the music from both.

- dear, we’ve been listening to TVXQ songs for years now, who are you to say to us to stop, you might as well tell Homin to just call themselves Homin from TVXQ, so that people will not be misguided from the great TVXQ, I will forever preach that the real TVXQ is made of five voices, how can 2 voices can claim they are, even if those 2 greedy companies will shout to the top of their throat that Homin is TVXQ, how can we fans who have been listening for many years could believe that. I can’t let these 2 companies bury the real TVXQ by these 2 voices. The more Homin sings old TVXQ song, the more they put themselves under criticism because they can never give a performance better or even at par from the real TVXQ, so they are just like the fake one. Just sing their new song, at least we are not challenged to defend the real essence and soul of TVXQ or the best they can do is to just to call themselves Homin from TVXQ.

I remember when there was a group who made a cover of TVXQ songs, fans bashed and mocked that group like there’s no tomorrow, feeling so prideful and mighty that TVXQ always sounds the best, now after listening to Homin’s version, what are those fans can say, is it still the best? that no one could ever make it better? . Sometime we have to step the brake of our pride and boastfulness, when some groups sing a cover of TVXQ’s song, we should be forgiving, because presently, the people who are shouting that they are TVXQ, even the companies give them that name, it doesn’t follow that they will sound like TVXQ as most of us have listened thousands of times that even their breath are instilled in our memories.
Regardless of how many official releases sm and avex will make that Homin is TVXQ, will these two can sound like TVXQ or better than TVXQ? They are just plainly Homin from TVXQ, and whenever they sing their old songs, they are just simply making a cover because it is shameful to call it TVXQ version if they can’t make it at par or even better. Homin are just like those other groups who want to sing the authentic TVXQ songs.
For those who disagree with this, you have the right to disagree but I have also the right to say what I think, and until sm and avex will realize that they are harming TVXQ legacy rather than preserving it as what they claim, arguments like this will always arise. Yes, we have to move on, the fans and JYJ and Homin have to move on, but everytime Homin are used by these greedy companies to milk from TVXQ’s name, the fans of almost a decade will always take a halt and pause….because only we , the fans, can preserve the true essence of TVXQ, let’s tell the world that TVXQ is way more than what is thrown presently as TVXQ, we fans should continue to spread how beautiful their songs, and everything around them, the 5 voices of TVXQ, let’s show them to the new generation that TVXQ doesn’t stop at Homin, that the true TVXQ is really very beautiful.

Personally not my taste in music, but none of HoMins stuff is, tbh. I guess I just don’t like the way their voices sound as two. Never really realized it while they were five, but then again, HoMin didn’t really have duets together (for a good reason).

I’m not going to bash, though. I’m already numb to all of this. Just hope they won’t sing THSK5 songs on their arena tour. They have plenty of songs of their own to sing now.

It’s a bass and tenor/high. They typically don’t harmonize. And Changmin and Yunho weren’t able to meld together and harmonize as to, so to be honest, no, it didn’t sound amazing at A-nation. Sounded a bit jarring. If JYJ sang it, would they sound better? Most likely, yes. It has nothing to do with any party’s “lack” of skill, tbh, but the fact that without a bass or tenor, you can still do these type of songs and harmonize. For HoMin, it’s harder especially to a song that is not tailored to them. They didn’t manage to nail it. No, I’m not slamming any group. If JYJ sang something like Mirotic or Rising Sun, and Changmin wasn’t there to scream, I think it would be missing something important as well and it would be jarring. Songs have their strong points, the 5 have their strong points, and certain songs highlight that or show what they lack. That’s why I love many of JYJ’s and TVXQ’s 2010 and 2011 songs respectively – they suit them.

That said. This is a TVXQ song. HoMin is TVXQ. Whether they agree to or not – and no one knows – they have to sing it. The people who own the rights are SM. So as these are the songs that made TVXQ big, they will sing it. I can understand that. If I don’t want to listen to these particular songs, I can just choose not to. But I still support them. All of them.
