constructive criticism is necessary in life. if one can’t take it then they will never be able to learn.

are you saying that you only want SYC to show good reviews about them but to brush off the bad one?

lets accept it No one is perfect even if he is Jung Yunho, kim hyun joong or anyone else for that matter. Being criticize is how one learn and improve

Yeah, lol.
I loved Heading to the Ground to bits, but I can’t deny that I cringed like crazy on a lot of scenes… I think Yunho is an okay actor based on the banjun dramas, but I don’t think he suited dorky temperamental Cha Boongoon.

Why does a video pointing out Yunho needs to improve his acting (which he does) have to do with JYJ? Newsflash: It doesn’t.

If there were less fans who think like you (Homin’s success = JYJ failure and vice-versa), then this would be a better fandom. Because it’s those type of thoughts that make it impossible for people to support both groups.

dude! its news! its something new and recent about our boys! not everything would be good news or good criticism about them! a good and dedicated website needs to share everything, and thats what SYC is doing. moreover, its a poll by Arirang! its meant to cause stir and we were going to find out sooner or later, especially by antis, so its better to know about this from SYC than from them. So, i dont see why is this article usless.

You know, If they share just good and positive stuff about our boys it would be really unfair! we would really be uninformed. So i find it really unfair for SYC, they are just doing what they have to do, share information.

And, you can totally see they are not JYJ biased. They have publicated a lot of articles that badmouth JYJ (cuz really there have been A LOT) however this is probably the first poll to say negative things about one of them, so its kinda heavy, and so its not like they are taking sides.

wow.. I was so surprised that u say things so brainlessly.. If SYC is JYJ bias, they would not waste their time uploading Homin’s videos with sub… If u seen those bias sites (eg, HOtelgirls etc) they only post good things about Homin and bad news about JYJ… Thats called bias.. And even some people are leaving SYC cuz syc posts news about Homin too.. SYC is strongly keeping neutral and posting the news related to the 5… How can u accuse them like that… Guess that u were blindld butt hurt about the truth.. So what if he is not good at acting , lots of ppl still ike him.. If nobody tells the truth and people closing their eyes and keep lying to him, u think he will last for long???
My point is that , dont ever blame our SYC unnies… I hate it… If u are capable, go and stop arrirang from airing that news…

Airrang is going to get a some haters lol. Well, i honestly didnt liked yunho’s acting in HTTG, but it was his first real drama, excluding the banjun dramas (where his acting was waaay better, maybe because he was comfortable with his members). I also think that the dorky character was not fitting for yun, but like they say, a real actor can do anything, so he just needs more practice and he will get better. Hopefully, we will see him in another drama or at least in Poseidon, since its going to air soon (:

Why are some people so pissed? how can people get to improve themselves if there are only praises…one can only be a successful performer/artists if he/she take notes on the criticisms and and work hard based on those, if he can only hear praises and sweet nothings, he could have no drive to work for excellence and might be contented on his present performance.
How can one label SYC as JYJ biased if it share a “not so nice article about your Yunho-oppa” ? Does it make Yunho any less as your idol?

Ah, I was wondering when someone was going to publicly criticize leadersshi’s acting skills~ Yeah, maybe he’s not meant to be an actor [the guy can't seem to lie to save his life!]. Or who knows, maybe he’ll be enough of a perfectionist to prove Arirang wrong someday..

Whatever it is, Jung Yunho will always be Jung Yunho, and a gazillian people all over the world is already so in love with him, just for being who he currently is! ^^

While I wasn’t impressed with Yunho’s acting debut, this wasn’t constructive criticism. It was a waste of airtime. With that being said, don’t blame SYC for posting this. Don’t make this into fodder for crazy stans to start a fight. I hoped he learned from it and gets another chance to show his growth. I also think the script sucked for HFG, good acting wouldn’t have helped

I find it hilarious that the report is giving her viewpoints about bad actor idols when she is one of the worst reporters I have ever seen. He delivery is just awful and her voice isn’t TV friendly.

Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. She wasn’t the one to come up with the list.

As mar was saying, it is a poll, not an advice column. While I think the name is unfortunate (they could have said need improvement or something), but I guess you need an interesting title to attract viewers.

Plus, she did mention some pointers. For Yunho, she said that his expressions were over-exaggerated. To the other actors/actresses, she also pointed out stuff like too poker-face/expressionless, can’t read lines well, etc. I mean how much can you expect from a 4 minute video?

- @bebe: Yes lets Tbh, I don’t think anyone liked that video much (look at all its minuses on Youtube lol), but I don’t think we should be insulting the reporter either. It’s really the wrong target, after all it’s the writers/producers that chose the bad concept and bad title.

And what can she do about her voice not being TV friendly–what if she’s born with that voice, etc?
  
  You can’t judge from one role, but I guess the point is that idols just automatically get roles because of their popularity, and not their talent. So more attention is given when they don’t do well. If they were just actors and did poorly, they won’t be given another chance.

I have worked in tv production she adds inflection when it isn’t needed and she is slightly monotone. The flow of the script wasn’t good because you could tell due the slight pauses. But wish her nor harm.

I agree that Yunho isn’t the best actor, and so is KHJ, but tbh I don’t think SYC should be criticized, more like Arirang should be. They always have these awful polls. Awhile back, there was a horribly demeaning one about female idols/actors who are considered “healthy” but still popular. Like, being healthy and having a body type like Ha Jiwon or Eunjung or Suzy and being popular is such a big surprise because they don’t have the ideal Korean body type. Which I think is totally BS.

They also said that Eunjung’s legs give off a nice and friendly feel because they’re shapely, which. Ugh. Arirang is major fail.

I have heard about their previous polls. But to each it’s own. I am jamming to my new Beyonce cd so it all cool. My main issue is that airang doesn’t do good reporting, poll or
no poll. No one needs to bring shade to SYC for posting this. They do a great job and if people don’t like it, GTFO! No one is forcing anyone to read any of this.

I was so surprised that u say this site seems like a JYJ site…. But i wished they would post more YC news as this is yoochun site… honestly, I was a bit sad that SYC posted the YC’s news as many as the 4… But i am impressed that they can stay neutral… If the admins hear u, they will be heart broken…

10 Homin articles, 11 JYJ articles. But many of those articles have to do with individual members of JYJ (eg just Junsu), and since they have 3 members versus 2, it is pretty reasonable that there will be more articles (just by the simple fact that there is more people in that group).
The number of articles on this page is a lot because it’s controversial. There will be a lot of comments on controversial articles that talks bad about JYJ too. Non-controversial topics (of either group) tend to draw a similar amount of comments, depending on how interesting the article is. Excluding this article, Homin articles draw an average of 7.8 comments, while JYJ only has an average of 6.3. These numbers are taken from 12:04am Mountain Time. Unless you have proof otherwise, I think it’s pretty clear that what you are stating cannot be supported by the statistics.

I agree on the KHJ one, he was really bad on ‘Playful Kiss’. I couldn’t finish an epi. because of it. He’s better for reality shows. Or maybe he should stick to “Rui” roles (Boys over flowers) until he’s comfortable acting.
As for Yunho, he had acting potential, he just didn’t choose the right ones. Being a comedic figure doesn’t suit him. Even in DBSK5, he wasn’t known to be silly (he was the least silly; or was that Min?)
However, they both have rooms to improve, it’s not a lost course.
