[Info] 110329 JYJ World Tour – Indonesia’s Cancellation – Details

I let you know some details regarding to the cancellation of Indonesia concert.

As Cjes Entertainment(hereafter Cjes) announced previously, DCI, Indonesian promoter did not fulfill the article of the contract we made several times.

DCI kept missing the deposit payment dates and showed inexperienced attitude on process of preparing the concert. Cjes visited Indonesia trying to solve this problem with extra fee but Indonesian Promoter seemed not to be ready to organise the concert. Followingly, Cjes decided not to keep this which will be apparently finalised with mess.

Knowing how fans in Indonesia are in pain and sadness, JYJ feels hurt and wants to say sorry for you. Please do understand this incident for both JYJ and you guys, JYJ’s lovely fans.

Thank you for your concern and all your cares.

  1. :( that’s so cruel to Indo fans! … but seems like it can’t be this time…
    fighting cassies!

  2. Another acticle said that C-Jes suddenly demanded more money from the promoter, which they couldn’t pay. So tbh it’s understandable why the promoter backed off. I kinda blame C-Jes :/
They should really have everything done before they announce concerts.

    • Maybe, but that doesn’t explain why all the other promoters (e.g. Thailand) didn’t have any issues. I don’t really think C-Jes would treat the Indonesia team more unfairly for any reason.

    • I don’t think they demanded more money because the amount was definitely mentioned on the contract before both sides signed it. That’s why Cjes mentioned that the other side bleached the articles of the contract. Pls. don’t bend the words

    • from the article it seems like the promoter wasn’t meeting decline in paying them fees according to the contract.
it best of they cancel it anyway, in case it turn into a hot mess during the concert.

    • Agree at braveviet, i think C-Jes demand more money as penalty because DCI kept missing the deposit payment dates and showed inexperienced attitude on process of preparing the concert

      please read carefully

    • please read d article carefully. C-Jes canceled JYJ’s tour in indonesia bcoz d promoter in indonesia didn’t fulfill one of d condition of their contract agreement i.e: paying the deposit payment accordingly. basically C-Jes hv d right to do so. dey didn’t demanded more money for it.

  3. oh please it really made me sad
i almost crying while this news was spread yesterday :(
please give us chance to see JaeJoong YooChun and JunSu performing :(
    so many cassies here :’)
    we can’t blame anyone :(
ah really it makes my heart hurt so deep :(
now i can’t see JYJ face, or listening to their song, it just make me wanna cry :’((

  5. though i’m not an Indonesian, I can still feel the pain…

  7. Dear Indonesian fans, our hearts are with you. <3 Let`s wait for JYJ together, all over the world, with love for them.

  8. i am from indonesia…hiks…it’s said admins from indo Cassiopeia try to find a solution…hiks…i hope the concert still can be done…hiks..i already buy organic food for them..hiks..some cassi…must lose their money because they already book ticket for aeroplane and bus

    • I know dear… I felt it too (I am from Indonesia). I have bought the ticket for concert, the ticket for the airplane, and I worked in two places just to get the money for the accommodation. But all my hard work is useless…. it hurts much…

But I will keep JYJ no matter what because I know in this case, it IS NOT their fault, especially Jaejoong.

      • hug you

DCI writes in their website that C-jes…give additional production fee and request that are not included in contract….which one we must believe…i hope we can talk to c-jes to clarifies the news

      • me too i already buy the ticket from DCI.
i think both parties its wrong CJes must learn to choose a bigger promotor cause its JYJ, and DCI supposed to find a sponsor so they have a bigger fund.
        sigh

  12. I found this to be a pretty insightful comment:

Written by esmiux on the OMNTD Livejournal community–

“Honestly we don’t know what kind of production they were asking for and even though this might be hard to understand to some people that are not quite familiar with concert production and artist management, most of the times the requirements can’t be adjust to fit the promoters’ budget and venues, especially when you are talking about a big scale production. Artists send in advance something call a ‘Technical Rider’ which includes all the production requirement from P.A systems to in-venue catering, if the company here -DCI- wasn’t able to fulfill these requirements is not the Artist’s fault.

‘Besides the production problems, this concert can be done without any problems if only CJES Entertainment would have wanted to kindly negotiate with us and not forcing one side to oblige their impossible requirements.’

My field of work is Concert production and artist management, and this statement alone shows the lack of professionalism from DCI as a production/promoter company. There’s no such thing as ‘forcing one side to oblige’, there are requirements a promoter/production company must fulfill, and the artist itself isn’t forcing anyone, if you as a company can’t handle a show because technically is too difficult for you or you just can’t afford it, you shouldn’t take on it.

For example, you’d be surprised to know that the Lighting system for David Guetta is twice the artist’s fee alone, someone might think its crazy but that’s what he needs to make his show/concert.

Honestly is not as simple as it sounds and DCI sounds really unprofessional, imo. LOL i’m just rambling now.

Point is, this is DCI trying to blame the artist because they couldn’t fulfill the requirements, and most often than not, that situation alone is enough to void a contract.”

  13. This is seriously break heart news. I feel sorry for everyone involved.

  14. i was so dissapointed even i already bought the ticket . but thats OK. now im understanding

  15. let’s just hope next time, it will be better….C-jes can learn from this and take better care for choosing promoter in Singapore and Indonesia..
