-Personal and unpopular opinion time-
Actually this album is expensive for an album with 6 songs. Average full album in Korea costs between 11,000~19,000 won, and honestly all JYJ albums are overpriced for general market. Only hardcore fans will buy it but i don’t think they can entice new fans with such prices to buy the album. There are still a lot of first limited copies of the beginning in record stores in Seoul so if you can’t get a copy you can still buy it in person.
I love the cover though! It makes me want to buy a copy and display it like a picture!

hm well considering they’re on their own, and hiring lawyers for lawsuits and many more i suppose they need to earn money from their album~but truthfully even they themselves said they don’t expect much success in their new JYJ path but they’re just gonna enjoy making music =) so albums sales don’t really matter to them~ and this album is a gift for the fans so if fans want to buy then go for it, if they don’t then don’t XD i don’t know how expensive their albums are i need malaysian currency ppl! in my opinion i think new fans will still by the album i consider myself a new fan and ive listened to the previews of their news songs and i love them all. i bought their japanese mini album and that was more expensive with only 4 songs same with their beginning album i thought i was a little too expensive and yet i still bought but to have the opportunity to have an album where all the song were composed by THEM and essays that express their true feeling and emotions where they dont share with almost anybody is a once in a lifetime chance. their musical talent is amazing. and it say that it comes with a photobook so for me this price is cheap and i will gladly buy the album. im not worried about their sales with this album im sure cassies from korea, japan. canada, USA, well cassies from all over the world wont dissapoint me or the boys i have faith in all of us

lol your opinion is not that bad. It is true actually. But, I think this time they made it more expensive because it includes facts about their personal lives too. I mean how many celebrities sit down and write essays for an album that you know of?
And pictures are included.
But yes you are right this is for hardcore JYJ fans. Thankfully their are MANY hardcore JYJ fans. And this album is definitely a must buy. It is their first COMPLETE work that also includes aspects of their personal lives.
I don’t think fans will complain after buying it. I am still waiting for The Beginning to be released in Canada (hopefully) and I will also buy that!

I don’t understand why some people think its expensive O_O $23 for an album which included a whole bunch of other stuff like photobook/a planner/pictures/etc is a good price I believe..I mean look at their Japanese releases…rofl now those will kill you if you buy all their singles and albums. one single is like $20 and don’t even talk about their albums >.> I seriously used up a big chunk of my paycheck buying their secret code set (album DVD + concert DVD and the bolero single ^_^)

it’s different in their Japanese album case because Japanese currency is strong….skw is not as strong as Japanese so that why it expensive….and comparing to their other Korean album eve the repackage which have a lot of goods and include a lot more songs…it wasn’t as price like so.

Well, my own preference is different from others, but in the end its not likely they’ll change the price even if some say its too expensive. That and I like supporting my favorite artists. When I buy my albums its on average $19, which isn’t all that different from JYJ’s. I also got a free showcase which saved me $220 so an extra 5 bucks to support someone I enjoy listening to isn’t going to hurt me financially. If others think its too expensive, then they don’t have to buy it. No ones holding a gun to their head saying buy it. I’m positive a majority of fans don’t even buy the album, because alot of them don’t have credit cards/enough side money. Do what you can, that’s all they ask.

There’s only 6 track….that’s more like mini album. it’s not a full album 10 track…lil disappointed. It seems like they rush with the recording as well..as the songs are good but doesn’t sound polish. I thought they have learn from the beginning. But it seems not the case. If more time was spend for the beginning it would so average..the songs in this one is good…it would be great/awesome if more time was spend. Hopefully next time they would spend more time producing and recording their songs. Don’t know how many next time I could take.
Anyway the album cover looks great though. Jaejoong is so manly, they all look ever so handsome in suits.

honestly seeing fans buying albums because they feel pity or want to support….i don’t share that option.
I didn’t buy it the beginning but now I’m going to buy this korean album.
JYJ as songwriters surprised me alot they are in another level can’t even compare to the old days when they were idols. I think I like all of their songs except Micky’s song, maybe i need to listened the whole song before judge him.

I pretty much agree with your opinion, about the rush times and,maybe yes, they could be polish the songs a little bit much longer so the result would be the best.
Actually I pretty much surprise too this morning when I read about the release date,
feel like “why so sudden” beside about the price I dunno if this overprice or not, but I can understand too that the Main Sale Point in this album are THE SONGS ARE SELF COMPOSE BY THE MEMBERS THEM SELF,the Personal feeling etc.. so yeah hardcore and new fans definitely will buy this album.

in the past I only use to like 4 or 3 songs of DBSK’s albums…this is like 25% of DBSK’s album..and now surprising i like 80% of JYJ’s album.
I don’t include Tohoshinki’s albums because I like more japanese songs than koreans.

When are you going to stop posting the same opinion over and over again. We get it already. To you it’s unreasonably expensive. To me, it’s at a reasonable price. Lets agree to disagree. And to me, for them to record and package songs they’ve even performed on in their concert , is not rushing. So lets agree to disagree, oK?! If you are displeased with it then don’t buy it, capish! I agree that the beginning is not really polish but this one is different, especially from the preview.
Do you use a proper headset for their songs? I’m not a critic but I listen to their songs very carefully. Their upcoming 6 songs are very carefully recorded. The sound, the layer, the detail of music is very polish. Although you really need a proper headset for it.
I understand that some fans would disappoint that there are only 6 songs. However, if you don’t like it, just don’t buy it. That’s all.

besides they already said this is more like a thank you and appreciation to the fans who wanted them to release these songs in an album form!

their new songs are not dissaponting at all they ARE polished and i am a satisfied listener mini album or full album i dont care what it is as lonng as i continue to hear more music from them, i dont know what i would do if they stopped with their music. i think people should just be happy with what they got, the guys can’t be perfect all the time i mean they are human too and not to mention that they dont really have a stable management at the momment, the guys are doing the best of what THEY can do with what little they have. for the people that say maybe next time they will do better well those fans

if you think its too expensive or whatever so just don’t buy it. I myself going to order at least 2 copies of it. i find this quite cheap really…after those japanese collection i feel like anything under $30 is cheap for me.
And i really enjoy all songs in the preview. Normally in dbsk’s album i had few or 3 songs that i don’t like. I prefer to have a nice 6 songs rather than full album, i don’t like the idea of them making some random songs or put those rushing self-compose in just to make it full album.
I’m not those type of fans who buying everything that singer have. I need to listen to it first, right now jyj’s preview is good enough for me. As for homin’s album i need to listen to all the songs first since i don’t like those sme type..I need ballad and middle temp one.

Maybe others think it’s expensive, so what? Everyone is different and we all have our own opinions. Someone might say it’s “cheap” but for someone else it isn’t. We all don’t have the same living standards and conditions.
I will try to get this since I think it’s a good buy. If this was just an album then I would think it’s overpriced but since it comes with so much more, it’s a better deal. Can’t wait to get an HQ version of Nine and Mission! ^O^

I agree wholeheartedly! When I heard Yoochun’s rap, I was floored. It didn’t mesh perfectly with my personal taste, but it transcends mainstream Asian/Korean pop. It actually has hints of the underground urban/progressive rap here in Liverpool.

up to now, the only cd i would feel truly excited to wait for cd buying and arriving, before hearing full songs within, is bolero cd from tohoshinki – for whole time i got into kpop land in general and dbsk land in particular (very harsh but for zillion releases by group or solo, i can only pick very few as my favs to replay).
now, i’m hyper excited to wait for this jyj cd buying and arriving, before hearing full songs.
