yes, NINE was written by joongie. he’s just tweeted about it. he said “nine” means it’s been nine years (excluding the time chunnie joined) *since tvxq was born*. but this song really makes me think it’s dedicated just to YUNHO. whew. lol and i’m not really a YJ shipper.

Jae wrote Nine and Pierrot while Junsu wrote fallen Leaves. It was confirmed by articles on the internet. I love all the songs probably except for I.D.S but I’m learning to love it. I would say that Nine is the best song of the album and the lyrics are so artistically done. while Pierrot really is a song dedicated to SM no matter how you listen to it. but unlike Keep your Head (Down/Up- not sure) it’s sound too harsh to listen to. Pierrot has the art factor that makes you want to listen regardless of the meaning since it is really good.

i love the musical start to fallen leaves..it sounds enchanting..and the beat in nine sounds wonderful..jae..junsu & micky’s voice harmonize lovely together..& peridot is such a great song also..each of the songs are meaningful and beautiflully delivered musically..& i really hope they wont have to endure any more upsets and trials with issue of sm..they have shown great strength and ability without them.. despite the obstacles which have been set in their path..and i hope they continue to shine..each of them in everything..Thank you for sharing..^_^

Pierrot is amazing in the sense of twist and turns and you have to know what a pierrot actualy is before you really truly understand the songs meaning.
A Pierrot basically means clown. Pierrot the name is a twist itself actually.Pierrot was a character who was sad and heartbroken but still smiled.
So when the song says “Me as your pierrot, thats a joke.” it basically means “Me as your clown, thats a joke.” The song talks about refusing to live caged and fake like, instead the main speaker wants freedom and to live their own life.
I’m already in love with Nine!!!!

from what i read from some English part of a Thai fan account, JUNSU wrote Fallen leaves and Mission. Jaejoong wrote nine.

The members did speak about writing the songs while they were on twitter. Plus it was already said that they would write and compose their own songs for this concert, they even wanted to release the songs on the us version of the album. And they have been praticing english…and this isn’t the first time they’ve thrown english into their own stuff. Plus with the music from america that they listen to I’m sure Jaejoong knows what the english part means. And plus the tomorrow line is more like a saying in korean (basically it would make a lot more sense to a korean than an american because that way of speak is more so theirs). Plus he could have just written it all in korean first then translated the parts he wanted for english. Or as I said he could just know it, they not that incapable when it comes to writing.

Oh dear…here we go again…round 89748923-8432(I lost count) of JYJ v. HoMin =_= *sigh*
It’s logical that new JYJ fans will feel an emotional and musical disconnect to the other two members of DBSK. I’m somewhat in the same boat, never having been a fan of DBSK but discovering JYJ through SKKS and the lawsuit with SM. BUT, it is too early at this point to separate the two. Their histories are still too intertwined and will be for a long time, imo. These five people spent six years together. Many people these days don’t even stay married that long. So it’s inevitable their experiences together colour the music JYJ write. So, while you all are entitled to your biases, claims that JYJ have separated themselves entirely from HoMin and therefore HoMin can go rot in a basement ring false. In a way, HoMin made the JYJ in these songs…you can hear it (or at least I can). I doubt we would have seen/heard the JYJ of the Seoul concert without HoMin.

JYJ is not better than DBSK, they are good but not better.
Any DBSK fans know this and if they are not blinded biased they can tell you so much.
I can’t explain it to you or any jyj fan because you weren’t there and it’s a shame.
I pity you and the jyj fans like you, because you will have to be ok with what is left.
DBSK was complete with the 2 people that you despise, the harmony, the teamwork and interaction between the five was amazing, the energy was pure.
They were magical together, now they are just good.
That’s why any person that knew them can’t forget, can’t let it go, that’s why no matter what they do we will forgive, sometimes I’m mad with the trio because they acted selfish but I can’t hate them because I remember the old days , I remember the boys that made me happy and proud, that made me laugh.

I don’t feel they say goodbye to Yunho or Changmin but to SM only.
In Pierrot they are saying about SM harsh treatment and that they will never be naive to go back to them and be used but that not mean they will never be back as five member group in the future. So I must disagree on the part “goodbye to Yunho & Changmin”. This part is so not like Cass to say…

My fav on this page is Pierott then Nine then Fallen Leaves.
If Pierott is not credited to anyone specifically doesn’t that mean that all three wrote it together?
Otherwise they would have attached credits.
Then I am assuming IDS was written and composed by all three as well?
If Chunnie didn’t write anything then I still love him….

I became a fan after the lawsuit and from ALL the albums they have created as TVXQ………I never like an entire album 100%. There were always 2-3 songs I felt like SME made them sing just so that it would be a full album X___X There were always 2-3 songs that I did not like on the majority of their albums…..
(And if anyone is going to bash me for my views here…….please note I think all five have A LOT of talent……..I just think SME paid for some really cheap songs that didn’t sound good……..so it’s SME’s fault)
But WOW if this becomes an album then I can proudly say that I LOVE every single song on the album. Fighting JYJ!

I love all the three songs, esp. their lyrics, very straight forward, deep and real.
Now it feels like they are evolving into real artistes/musicians.
No more songs about plain sex and love, or rhetorical lyrics. Now they are singing about what they know and what they feel. They are doing what is called “music with substance”.
I love they are making this process. From Idols to Musicians. Like everyone of us, we are growing up, we don’t want to stay our whole life a 15 years old teenager, do we?
I mean looking around all these “boy groups”, esp. in Japan, they are sticking with each other for a long time, but even in their late twenties and thirties they are merely Idols with no progression in their music, because their songs are the same over and over again about love, sex which don’t have deep meanings and substance.
It’s embarassing watching boy groups starting out as great Idols in their teens but ended up doing the same as grown up men in their thirties.
TO me JYJ don’t indentify themselves as Idols nor entertainers no more. They are stepping to a stage to be world class musicians who moved a whole generation.
