TVXQ’s 3 members who are in dispute with their agency SM Entertainment regarding exclusive contract (currently in hiatus), Yoochun, Jaejoong, and Junsu revealed that they would release an album that aimed world wide as its target next month.
The album that is produced by the three members, has decided to be released in Asia, United States, and worldwide, and the party that is responsible for the distribution is Warner Music. In addition, the album is going to be available in iTune and other overseas’ options of sound services.
Ever since the three members left from SM Entertainment last year, they’ve been moving their activities to Japan and released a new album there. Recently the members also participated in soundtrack album of Korean drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ which is starring member Micky Yoochun. However, to have them releasing album with world wide market as its target including Korea, under the name of these three members, this would be their first time.
The three members in an interview at ‘G20 Summit Meeting in Seoul’ blog on September 27th, “Our current biggest goal is to release a world wide album and to succeed in world market,” they said. “There are a lot of people who have noticed about this album, and that would be a chance that this world wide activity will turn well.” explaining further.
One official party who is involved in the album production, “The color of this album is completely different from ‘TVXQ’ music I know from all of these times.” he explained. Since there are United States pop musicians who contributed in the production of this album, so there is a challenge too for the three members to do recording only in English, and they’d struggled with pronunciation ever since. Currently, the three members are working in South Korea to finalize the album and is having discussion about the group name.
The official said, “We already came to conclusion that we couldn’t use TVXQ name.” and “There is ‘B1′ that is inspired from word ‘Restart’ which in sense of ‘Beginning’. And the acronym of members’ name ‘JYJ’ has also been put forward as one of the candidate group name but it has not reached to decision yet.”
Some days ago, the Japanese label of three members, AVEX’s decision announcement to discontinue the members’ activities was spread widely, yet the three members side responded, “They (the trio) are the victims.” stating their standpoint, and claimed, “We have completely no intention to discontinue activities.”.

didn’t they state in an interview that they wanted to create their own image? their total transformation and change of style says a lot about their charachter and determination. I’m glad they’re focusing on music so much. I think that is why we start to see a different side of each of them more often. I actually admire them greatly for being so honest and brave.
also, I think the fact that they’re taking up new challenges, especially singing in English, would be of great help in the future activities. They learn fast, they will learn English like they learned Japanese.
hehe and B1 DOES sound… out of place. >< I like JYJ better since we already got used it.
In any case, I miss HoMin and I will wait for HoMin's album as well.

. I must say though, I’m kind of worried about them singing in English.
The last time they sang, what was it Hug in Engrish and I cringed a little. I hope their pronunciation is much better this time because where someone like me who loves them will overlook it, there are much less forgiving people out there.
I’m a bit surprised that the album is going to be worldwide, I thought they planned to just focus on Asia? But I guess with all the recent happenings they’d be better off not not relying mainly on the Korean and Japanese market (still mad about josei jishin article)

Well, I hope that not all songs will be in English. At least 3 or 4 songs will be enough. I don’t want to end up laughing while listening to the album. lol But if all of the songs are produced by those US musicians then I guess we’ll be listening to an all English album. But then if I remembered correctly, they are gonna include the members’ compositions, right?! Maybe we can have korean or japanese songs?! Oh well, we never know. We just have to wait and see.

i don’t think the whole album will be in english..
but, maybe there are different kind of versions for some songs..

English or Korean I really don’t care.
The first thing that drawn me into them was their voices, so whether they sing in Korean or English it’s not so important for me.
I’m so excited for this album, especially since it’ll be worldwide so maybe I’ll find it in my country too.
If there’s no place for you in Korea and Japan then go for the rest of the world.
This world does not consist only in Korea and Japan (even though I’d love to hear them sing in Korean again *sighs*).
After all, Cassies are everywhere, so you wherever you’ll perform the red ocean will be there.

I love Jaejoong yes and DBSK as a whole but honestly speaking if their English sucks for this album I will probably not buy it.
I wish the best for my boys and if fans buy the album just because DBSK is their bias then………….
But then again I will probably buy the album just to show Ent. companies the power of DBSK worldwide. And to see them on a world stage is a big dream of mine.
I want them to come to America and kick Beiber’s and the Jonas Brothers butts. They are so overrated. But in order to do that they have to learn VERY GOOD English. Because I think English people are the most judgmental of colored skin people. They will rip this album and JYJ apart if this album is not really well done.
So I hope this album is very well done. And I hope Kanye does a good job on being their mentor and not just letting them pass by a small margin. Of course he wants to make big bucks too……..

so many seems like disliking the idea of ENG ALBUM. erm…I actually hope its in English, i mean full scale English album. I never understand Korean or Japanese so I actually hope they will sing in a language that I will understand when I listen to it w/o referring to translation. God knows how I wish to understand their songs while listening to it. Engrish or bad pronunciation…still its in English, ultimately the meaning will be pass on. With feelings or emotion don’t, i dont really worry about it since knowing how passionate they are when it come to singing that barrier will be break through.
So many Asian artist try to challenge world wide market. So far it seems fruitless. Will JYJ able to cast a spell to stand tall above all? That i really hope they can achieve.
With all happenings that surrounding JYJ prove me one thing, they have big ambition. I pray for their success!

i understand that. It annoys me to no end when people say “Woah…SNSD debut at 2nd in Oricon Daily but DBSK like at 37 etc kinda shit” Make me want to punch someone’s face. But knowing others know better — Cassies and Bigeast, I choose to ignore and go whatever we know DBSK better. But reading such things really pissed me off
AND thanx to Oricon when they mention about THSK as the leading pathway for other artist to debut in Japan and stuff. If not I will have major brain combustion.

You know, everyone is worried about their English pronunciation, but I think that if they are working so hard and for so long on this album, that they would not do things halfway. The fact that the article states that they struggled alot with English means that they kept re-recording and re-recording until they got it perfectly right. At least that is how I interpret it.
And new name?! Wow, they are really going all-out on this! JYJ has also grown on me, but I’d be open for a completely new name too, as long as it is good.. haha maybe they should think back to when they were choosing the name DBSK, and take one of the other options they had from then. I remember some of them were pretty funny (smth that translated to “all of the important organs in the body” or something, from what I remember? lmao).
Also, Chunnie’s shirt looks cool in that album preview pic. The pic in general looks cool. ^^

Why is everyone all… negative?
You do relize that they had this exact chalenge when they went to Japan with the language barrier. They harly spoke Japanese and yet they released Mind, Heart and Soul. All they need to do really intergrate themselves. They can overcome it and dominate the charts just like they did before. We must have faith in out boys. I believe they can do it. America need some good music in the industry anways and who better to deliver than Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun. (man I wish Yunho and Changmin were with them…. this is big.)

Until one of them says “TVXQ has officially disbanded” the band still exists (for me TVXQ will exist even if they say that, but that’s just me).
