U-Know Yunho, who traveled to Japan to promote his drama, is getting a delayed positive response from netizens for teaching his Japanese fans the special cheer and claps used to cheer for the Korean national soccer team.
According to a Youtube video uploaded by a Japanese news agency, U-Know Yunho visited Japan to commemorate the DVD release of his first drama ‘Heading to the Ground’. 5000 people attended the event.
In the drama, he played the role of a soccer player. Therefore, the subject of the questions being asked smoothly transitioned from soccer to the World Cup. U-Know Yunho was excited that both Korea and Japan had entered the top 16 and said, “Asia is strong.”
Following this, the MC asked him, “Do you cheer (for the national soccer team) at home?” U-Know Yunho replied, “I dance or sing ‘O Pilseung Korea’.” He also said that he shouts “‘Clap-Clap~Clap-Clap-Clap’ DaeHanMinGuk.”
As if they had been waiting for such an answer, the Japanese fans clapped five times to the beat and cheered. U-Know Yunho said, “That was amazing,” and praised the Japanese fans for following the Korean cheer so well.
Korean netizens who saw the video stated, “It’s cute to see Japanese fans following the Korean cheer,” and “It’s great to see him working hard to spread awareness of Korea in Japan.”

Delayed response. T____T But thank goodness for JP fans with good taste. I feel so bad for HTTG cuz it’s such a lovable drama and I was so mad that people weren’t patient with HTTG. If only they finish the drama they will know why it is love.

I watched until finish, but sorry to say the story really bad, Ara’s acting is bad – she looks like a new comer, but Yunho’s acting is develop in each episode.

Since I’m a big fan of Manchester United, the way the film used wrong information and cut scenes of United really did annoyed me. To say about the film only, the plot is boring, the film sometime felt forced, illogical and disjointed. Yunho acting really did developed during filming, he worked his best for the film as always. But there’s nothing to comment about the female lead_ Go Ara’s acting , or at least I can call it’s emotionless. I think that’s why even Yunho was casted in the film, it still didnt have a good rating in Korea. This time, the sales was good in Japan because it was released in DVDs instead of airing on TV like a drama so Japanese fan cant watch it before decide to buy it or not. Further more, THSK’s paused activities make fan miss Yunho so much that they want to support him by buying the DVDs. So, in my opinion, HTTG is not really a great film to watch.
