We cannot accept the situation
2010-04-28 15:16:46
The results of the ticket lottery were out, how was the results?
(few sentences omitted)
Immediately after the results were announced on 13:00, the Yahoo auction was an uproar…
We knew that this will happen…
Because, this time, everyone who has registered in the a-ticket can obtain the tickets…
(T/N: There were no special reservation chances for Bigeast members in advance for this event.)
Please check here.
Yahoo Auction
(T/N: Hope you see prices of the tickets…the immediate purchase price is 100000yen, approx 1080 USD per ticket.)
If you look in carefully, some of the names are the same.
They should be professional traders.
They should have applied, using many names of their friends.
The price should go up, higher up, to the top.
Ticket Ryutsu is worse.
Everytime I go there, the numbers of tickets on sale increases.
100000yen (1080USD) per ticket? 150000yen (1630USD)?
And many are already under negotiation.
Ticket Ryutsu Center
(T/N: There are 276 cases for the dome event auction on the timing I am translating this article)
They should not have sold the ticket at a-ticket.
I could not understand what avex is thinking.
The “Thanksgiving Live” should be for the true fans.
What is the meaning of the Bigeast fan club?
(few sentences omitted)
Do you know?
Not only professional agents but also the students participate in the tickets auctions in order to increase their pocket money nowadays.
I once met a person that became a member of the Bigeast for such reasons, since they know that Tohoshinki tickets can be sold at high prices.
I was surprised that the mother (of the girl) was recommending the auction to her daughter, saying that
“It is better than to gain money from morally questionable places.”
I complained to her, using many words.
But she did not understand me.
Do you think it is right for the parents to agree on such methods?
I am so sorry that this day should come.
I heard that this time, the lottery rate for this dome event was 40 to 50 times.
CEO Max was saying in his twitter that there were more than 1 million applicants ~(@_@;)
What is the meaning of “Thanksgiving”, if those who really want to go could not go.
I know that the 3 members are not wishing for this situation.
avex! Please think a little bit more.
There are alternates between joy and grief for the ticket lottery, I sincerely hope that there will be no unsightly arguments…
CEO Max’s twitter
2010-04-29 02:04:1
There seemed to be tremendous amounts of complains on the twitter.
I heard that there are many protest mails sent to the Bigeast office…
But, we are fortunate enough to hear the true voice of CEO Max through the twitter, so these are the speedy good days.
I have copied the contents of Max’s twitter here.
(T/N: Please refer to the topic here for the trans)
He is saying that they have checked the personal data, and 90% of the tickets have gone to the Bigeasts.
(few sentences omitted)
How was the situation for you?
But thinking deeply, since 90% were selected from Bigeasts, the many persons giving out the tickets in the auction sites are mostly Bigeasts.
That gave me a great shock.
Are those people members of the Bigeast because they want to make profits from Tohoshinki?
I feel very frustrated.
The Bigeast magazine, which the Bigeast office dearly publishes…Are they going to the trash bins immediately after they receive them?
Or, are they also giving them out to the auctions?
I am so frustrated………

People like those who buy tickets only to resell them in auctions with multiple prices are really…… I’m too polite to say the word O.O;;;
But then again, I don’t understand what is the use of lottery method in selling ticket? I’m not used with that. Why can’t people just simply buy on line with common method and crash the site?

it makes me so angry.
I doubt many people can now buy those tickets
I wouldn’t…
I hope it doesn’t mean the dome will be half empty
By: Alou on April 29, 2010
at 9:04 am
It’ll definitely be full because the demand for the tickets at original value is still significantly higher than the number of tickets. As long as the scalpers make a profit, at either 10% higher or 1000% higher than the original price, they’re happy.
But yeah, scalpers are scum.
By: Cecilia on April 29, 2010
at 9:09 am
yeah, but how many people can pay almost 2000 dolars?
not to mention the international fans who have to pay for plane tickets and all
I’m just so pissed off and I didn’t took part in the lottery, i can’t imagine how other people must feel
By: Alou on April 29, 2010
at 9:15 am
I know how you feel = (
I’m more hurt by the fact that people pretended to be TVXQ fans. I want to believe that all 200,000+ members love the 5 of them and their music above money.
By: Cecilia on April 29, 2010
at 9:24 am
@Alou:
Don’t worry about the seats being half empty coz the case of tickets being sold at auction sites is only about 0.6% out of the whole concert tickets sold.
Currently they say there’s 276 auction site cases. I just hope it doesn’t go way too further than that.
But yeah, even if Avex did sell the tickets using the regular method, people can still buy loads of them and still resell them like this. There’s nothing we can really do about it…TT__TT
By: babababan on April 29, 2010

If they’re charging that much, presumably some people are willing to pay.
By: Vina on April 29, 2010

@ Vina and babababan
you are right. Even if it is 1000 tickets the dome is huge, and as vina said, probably there are people willing to pay
as people did for Yunho “this is it”

hmm just concert tickets and thing can get so complicated…wow 1 mil…O__O ….the ticket can cost up to 2000 USD almost…isnt that TOO much..i mean we all love Tohoshinki but look …not all fans can pay for it…hope Avex will adjust things soon:) Good luck to all the fans out there^-^ hope yah all can get ur ticket with a more reasonable price:)

Wow… I’m so sorry for the fans who wanted to attend this concert but couldn’t get the tickets… I can’t believe there are people who join Bigeast just to resell tickets on auction sites! That’s so low!!! And 1000USD??? Are you kidding me???
By: mah on April 29, 2010
at 9:01 am
I don’t understand the lottery either
but… if people participate in the lottery just to sell the tickets after
imagine if they could just buy all the tickets they wanted
I doubt it would have made a difference
probably those same people would have bought a big amount of tickets to sell them after is all sold out. At least that is what always happen in my county

“100000yen (1080USD) per ticket? 150000yen (1630USD)?”

Are those people members of the Bigeast because they want to make profits from Tohoshinki?”

those kind of people are just low.

These “individuals” r really shameful.
They should actually be called backstabbers.
This seemingly “small” issue makes me wonder…
How many,out of those 777000 official Cassies&
200000+ Bigeast members, are truly genuine fans with no “hidden agenda”????
The same would go for International fans – if we were to have our own fanclub!
Rotten apples nebody??Tss

This is really frustrating…TT__TT
There are really people who are that low, huh?
This really makes me sad~~~
“I was surprised that the mother (of the girl) was recommending the auction to her daughter, saying that
“It is better than to gain money from morally questionable places.””
This is really pathetic. Pfft.
Well, at least there are only 276 cases out of the 50000 seats sold. *sigh*
I still feel boiling mad inside though.

thats a huge slap. ouchie. bigeast are very moral n i doubt true members registered for profit. there are members who buy multiple tickets to help sell out the concert but to auction it is really ludicrous. 1mil ppl wants to go. thats crazy. n the tickets bidding is like up there. big problem.

I don’t get it, I thought it’s a common thing in Japan that they sell the tickets using auctions & thru fansclub then the fansclub will sell the tickets to member or non member with higher price.
Or it could be the information I got is wrong.
Confused.
By: Kur4tinc on April 29, 2010
at 9:36 am
Yes I thought this kind of thing was quite common. especially for bands like Glay that never perform outside of japan.
At least the lottery was random, so the money-grubbers can’t have a definite chance of buying and re-selling the tix?
Hmmm it means the value of Tohoshinki in Japan is very high now.
By: la on April 29, 2010
at 9:49 am
yea it’s just like how i saw these things happen in dramas.
people resell the tickets double the original price.
but to sell them up to 150000yen is a little bit too much don’t you think?
regular ticket prices are usually around 7000yen-10000yen i guess so this is really unforgivable.
yurusenaiiiiiiiiiiii~~~~~
still, i believe there’s gotta be a way to solve this problem.
for example, limiting ticket purchase to one ticket per person, and to avoid people using too many fake names or the names of their friends ask for their identification numbers for every purchaser.
however hard it is to control, i still believe that there’s gotta be a way to reduce this problem.
last option, send a virus to the auction site or can we somehow burn these auction places? LOL jk. XD
By: babababan on April 29, 2010
at 10:06 am
@babababan
For A+ singer/group the price of the ticket can go above 100,000 yen especially for the front row.
By: Kur4tinc on April 29, 2010
at 10:35 am
@bababan
I dont know if this is effective, but I think maybe to solve this problem, buyers need to personally come down to the counter at avex and buy the tickets from there! one ticket, one identification card for one person? you think that’ll work? lol I dunno but one thing’s for sure, I hate these money-faced scalpers.
By: Edede on April 30, 2010

I can not go anyway. I do not have enough money to fly half way around the word.
I hope everything will be aright for all Bigeast! I wish them the best!
By: ngthuhien149 on April 29, 2010
at 9:42 am
Is it that unusual? I thought like Kur4tinc that this kind of practice (while Not Nice) was not uncommon.
As for Bigeast not getting special reservation chances, that is understandable considering the legal situation with the group I think…

Its sad but it happens alot for alot of high on demand artists. Its not illegal so there is nothing Avex can do about it.
just wish there was a way to control the price at the auctions coz this is exploitation.

it amuse me in different way………… its bad but its shows how Tohoshinki are in big demand.
As much as Im excited for this Thanksgiving Concert …man i cx bring myself to imagine the concert at Dome with only the 3 of them. Its going to be a blast of course but the thought of missing Changmin and yunho just………aish. I dunno why but I feel this is the trio way of calling back Homin to them and Homin silence is their way of calling the trio back. I hope they will reunite in front of us fans once again in near future. Im anticipating this a lot. the world feels so empty without them around on stage, Ive been craving for Changmin’s voice this few days I keep listening his WildSoul on repeat. I want to listen to their songs so much ^^

there’s not much difference even if avex didn’t use ballots IMO
and IA with some people who mentioned that this isn’t unusual for concerts with such high demand.
people can minimize this kind of thing by not buying those overpriced tickets… but it’s pretty impossible lol i mean, 1 MILLION applications ? that’s crazy O_O
By: franklin on April 29, 2010

People may mourn about it, but do you think, we, overseas fans, could get a ticket without those resellers? Do you think we don’t want to be bigeast member, if only we have adress in jp?
By: Shakee on April 29, 2010
at 3:52 pm
To think about it again, this is quite logical.
The total tickets for the concerts are around 140.000 (TD=50.000/55.000x2days + OD=30.000/36.000).That’s only like half of bigeast.
the system’s actually quite okay cos the organizer already make sure that 90% the ticket go to big east member. The demand is the one that already too big while u can’t expect the boys to do multiple concerts in such a short time.
276:130.000 is considered small.
people that swarmed to avex’s twitter are the other half of bigeast who can’t get the tickets plus other fans from all over place.
if avex go for common method to just sell the tickets to whoever who wants to buy the ticket the risk for having reseller could be multiples.
but i’m still raging over the probability of fake bigeast member existence who only join bigeast to get tickets.those kind of people are bad for business.

Looks like this Japanese system has a problem.
But believe me, even it’s not a lottery method, something like this can happen. (It happened in my country)
I think the best way is that every ticket must have some ID like ID citizen number, passport number of the persons who will attend any concert. You can buy two tickets but you have to inform your ID and another one’s. And before getting in concerts, staff must check if ID on tickets and ID of the persons are the same, so they can get in.
This way may take much time but I think it’s better.
Anyway, anyone understand my English? LoLLLL
Hope someone will have the same idea or the better and tell Mr.max. It shouldn’t happen again.

Hi girls!
Well, I am so frustrated.
T took part on the lottery and unfortunatelly I was not lucky enough to get a ticket.
I am going there anyway, from Spain and I willl try to get a ticket… just imagine how much money I will have to spend If I wish to finally see the boys.
This is so frustrating!!!
