Hi there people. This is Legra here.
Firstly, i deeply apologize why SHARINGYOOCHUN.NET is not up yet up till know since i’ve some technical difficulties. Computer wise i mean. Im borrowing someone lappie just for this. And for that, i gave Chompoo a surprise call at 3AM yesterday with fellow reader, Yusuke (whom i forgive for whatever you did to me yesterday, hehe). My phone battery is dead too for the day by the way.
As many of you might know, SHINee came to Singapore for an event. There was a total chaos regarding the fansigning event today. I am not going to apologize for what happen today as I WAS NOT an organizer for the event. Therefore, i should not bare any responsibility for it. But i do apologize if i said any harsh comments to you.
Just to let those who are oblivious know that, there was a chaos before the fanmeeting actually. Though the fanmeet itself was a success, i must say with no chaos on the inside event itself, overlooking that, the others was a total mess. The whole miss communication regarding the huge commotion begins when fans read on SHINee Forum and Facebook stating that no overnighting was allowed. Being such huge artist in Korea, there is without any doubt that there will be an overnight queue for sure. This situation was unforseen by the organizer i assume and without proper arrangement for it, a chaos disrupted.
I myself came at around 11pm, since i stayed over in the East and the event was in the West. My initial plan was not to overnight there but staying someplace nearby to study and come later. But by the time i got there, around 400+ people have already camp out as the limit was 1000. And thus, the number of people starts to come began to rise. With this, two girls took note of our attendance which i must say was a great effort. I was further told that the organizers had asked for their help to do so.
Now, the problem really starts at around 4 or 5am in the morning. When public transportation has started and fans came in continuously. As they kept saying that no overnighting was not allowed, they formed a group right outside the main entrance. Since the MRT(train) exit is directly infront of the mall entrance, a much bigger crowd gathered. By 7 am, the crowd was really outrageous that some of us, which includes myself, decided to come forward and help manage the crowd. There is no way a few security guards and two young girl can manage the whole crowd during that time. Surprisingly enough though, some who stood up to help where my Polytechinic friends. We have organize tonnes of camps before and know how to manage and talk to huge crowds. But the problem was that, we were just mere individuals stepping out and not the organizers. We ourselves were unsure what is going to happen but all we had in mind was not to create a stampede.
This is the time where you saw me asking for your attention and help. Making all of you move yourself in rows of fives and asking you to maintain your posture and not panic. This is also the point of time i assume where some of you mistook me as an organizer or some sort. Because when the real management started to take over, we took back our place and queue just the same as you did. And when the line didn’t move, i started to receive phone calls from you. At this point of time, i cannot recollect back what i’ve said so if i do say anything harsh, please do forgive me.
Some more things happen here and there but to end it all, the fansign happen without the boys injuring themselve which was a relief. Sad for those fans who couldn’t manage to see the boys but do got for the musical at Esplanade to compensate it alright. By the way for those wondering how Onew is, he’s alright. How i know this. Because i asked him, PERSONALLY. It’s a little painful for him but he can manage. Such a sweet boy and oh my, i think his face is rounder then mine. LOL

Hi there, i’d like to thank you for your efforts, really.i was there and it was a crazy experience, but an adventure nonetheless.i never knew things could get so crazy but it did.

i was intending to go for the fansign today but after much thinking, i cancelled the idea cause i knew the place was chaotic ..moreover, the even was held in such a small place.. and my friend told me 60 bucks for the album was a rip off ..
SHINee already caused this ‘chaos’ in Singapore.. i wonder what will happen if DBSK really visit Singapore (which i hope it’ll happen someday) ..

They were going to cancel it because fans were not being in order. The management was trying to get things in order, but the fans who came later (and knew they probably weren’t in the first 1000) chose to make their own queue outside Lot 1, resulting in the pried open door. The fans in the queue had NOTHING to do with the door. Everyone in the queue was just sitting and waiting for instructions.

i was there in the morning, the post was right, it’s really in a big huge chaos. fans almost broke the automatic glass door on the left. luckily it didnt break! if not, i cant imagine how many people may get hurt by the shattered glass. My friends and i were being squish. In the end, we didnt get to see anything thou other than staring at that tv screen. it’s really disappointing for the fans who turned up yet they cant get to see their idol on live. IF it’s not shinee but dbsk who were there and i couldnt get to see them, i will be damn sad too. Hope they will take more fans next time.

i was there in the morning as well.everyone was like going crazy, squeezing here and there.CHAOTIC.me and my friend could not stand it and walk out.could not even see them.

Too bad I couldnt see the boys but my friend caught a glimpse of Key!
But going there and watching their van go past by me was worth every effort! Esp since I live 10 mins away from the mall!
It was utter chaos in the mall truly! In the morning, the fans forced open the glass door and in the late morning, at lvl 4 quite a fight occured and there were extremely rude security guards at the carpark area shouting the ‘f’ word and hokkien curses. It was a hot, sticky mess! Literally.
I am glad that you got a chance to meet them, legra! And good for you that the official event went well but aside the official happenings, everything was chaotic.
