Catch up: Episode 1 | Episode 2
Phewww.. finally I made time to write this again! oh, btw, is there anyone still following this post???

As another notice, since I’m focusing more to the recording work of the boys (basically introducing their old records to everyone) and not actually their career history, maybe there’s important event happened during the year which I forgot to mention, well, then feel free to ask and if I know about it, sure I’ll answer.
I made some addition entry in the previous post as well, about 2004 group splitting talk and ‘Hug (international version) which was released in November 2004 (sorry I thought it’s released in early 2005). Please check it out again!
—————————
Year 2005!!!
The beginning of Dong Bang Shin Ki to turn to Tohoshinki as the boys started paving their path in the second largest world music industry, Japan.
However, let’s start it first with the sudden expansion of TVXQ to China, by releasing their first album ‘Tri-Angle’ in Chinese version in early January
First Chinese Mini Album: Tri-Angle (Chinese version)
(January 20th, 2005)
1. 我相信 (워 시앙신) – Miduhyo
2. Tri-Angle (三角-魔力, 산지아오-모리)
3. My Little Princess (想근니說, 시앙껀니슈어)
4. The Way U Are (니的樣子, 니더 양즈)
5. Hug (擁抱, 용빠오)
(of course it’s not the real MV, it’s only the original Tri-Angle MV dubbed in Chinese by fan)
Can’t say much about this first (and only) Chinese mini album, except they sound cute in Chinese, lol
As far as I know, after this album, TVXQ only released one or two songs in Chinese as extras in their original album for Chinese market, so they never put a special Chinese album like this ever since.
Talking about Chinese, now I remember the hilarious MC ever, Yoo Jae-suk ever commented that the way Yunho speaking Chinese was like a steward or bus official or whatever it is XD
Just made it big in South Korea for nearly a year, TVXQ was not a group which was created to work easy from the very start as SM made a move, taking the five rookies to a total strange country — the country of raising sun, Japan.
TVXQ was not debuted as a popular group from South Korea in Japan (they’re not yet to be called such title anyway since they just debuted like a year in their own hometown). TVXQ was debuted as Tohoshinki, another rookie group which consists of South Korean youngsters.
As the second biggest music market in the world, Japan music market run heavily with the release of singles. You need to release some singles in a year to prove yourself in Japan music charts and keep people awareness on you. Therefore, starting from 2005, the number of the boys’ singles increasing like crazy.
First Japan single: Stay With Me Tonight
(April 27, 2005)

1. Stay with Me Tonight
2. Try My Love
3. Stay with Me Tonight (Less Vocal)
4. Try My Love (Less Vocal)
‘Stay With Me Tonight’ is a cool debut song, I think. It has stronger feel than ‘Hug’, but too bad it was not as popular as ‘Hug’ in Korea. Talking about bad luck…
I love their ‘kokoro~’ move >.< Anywayz, this song paid its popularity later on, when the boys already got their popularity in Japan, they never forget to re-introduce this song in many of the events/concerts. ‘Stay With Me Tonight’ becomes ending theme of Asahi TV’s “Kusano☆Kid (草野☆キッド).
Indeed, my favorite piece (and one of my most favorite piece til now) is the second song in this single, ‘Try My Love’.
If you notice, in any TVXQ or should I say Tohoshinki’s Japan concert, there must be one song which the boys sung with mike-supporting choreography (I dunno how to call it, but you know… those sexy alluring moves which can make those mikes pregnant?
)?
In FITB concert, it’s ………… okay there’s no such performance in FITB XD
In T concert, it’s ‘NO’
In TSC concert, it’s ’9095′
well, let say ‘Try My Love’s is the very first song where the members tried to pull out the moves (and they DID IT VERY WELL!).
The very best ‘Try My Love’ performance was during 2007 Soul Power
I closed my mouth the whole time!
I love all Tohoshinki’s performances in this 2007 Soul Power coz it was with live band and they’re totally in their good condition at that time, almost none failures in reaching any notes for everyone!
Choosey Lover | Heart Mind and Soul | Try My Love | Love in The Ice
and Soul Power Live’s LITI was one of the first performances of LITI in which Yoochun doing his super high notes (before he only did an ordinary low note just like in its Japan recording). I love Yoochun since the very start of my fandom (or for exact, I love Yoochun BEFORE I love TVXQ) yet, this performance was the first time I totally adore his voice…… *dream away*
oh okay, focus!! now we’ll come up to the next recording ^^
Being shocked of their nobody title in Japan?
well, SM grabbed the boys back to South Korea before they got depressed too long XD
Third Korea single: Hi Ya Ya Summer Day
(June 23, 2005)

1. Hi Ya Ya 여름날 (Hi Ya Ya Summer Day) MV 1 | MV 2
2. 공간 (하늘과 바다사이, Whisper Of..)
(Space; Between the Sky and the Ocean)
3. 너희들 것이니까 (I Wish…) (Because It Belongs to You)
4. 지금처럼 (Piano Version) (Like Now)
5. Hi Ya Ya 여름날 (Hi Ya Ya Summer Day) (Instrumental)
6. 너희들 것이니까 (I Wish…) (Because It Belongs to You)
(Instrumental)
Can I say I LOOOOOOOOVVVEEEE ALLL THE SONG IN THIS SINGLEEEE???!!!!!! o(>o<)o
‘Hi Ya Ya Summer Day’ is soooo fun and summerish. Yoochun did so many cute rap parts and I’m so on it! I also love Jaejoong thick vocal and Changmin’s high note at the background of all members’ part, kekeke he sounds angelic.
They shot the whole thing for the MV in Bora-Bora island along with photoshoot of their second photobook ‘Summer Paradise in Bora-Bora’ which was released later on in the year. Jaejoong, seriously, put your clothes on or you’re no longer safe being close to any human! (>.<)
‘Whisper Of’ only consists of 2U sexy voices yet I still adore it, lol
‘I Wish’ is……… epic!!!!!!!!! If Junsu made such powerful scream in front of me, people really needs to tie me down or I’ll rape that dolphin all and out!
And as I said that ‘Like Now’ is my most favorite song in ‘Tri-Angle’ album, well, the boys seemed to hear me so they released the piano version of this song in this single XDD
—————————————–
Yahhhhh it’s already 1:47 am here and I need to wake up in like 5 more hours for work!!
Really want to finish this episode at least until ‘Somebody to Love’ but I must sleep now or I won’t wake up at all ^^;;;
Hope you enjoy this episode and please drop me questions/notice or anything if there’s something left out
.
And I repeat again, I had fixed the 2nd episode with additional info so please take a look at it. I forgot to put ‘Hug (International version) the last time and that song has an MV so I don’t think you want to miss?
Nite nite! (or shall I say… Morning? XD)

finally ,, new episode ,,, gonna read it & listen to the songs now
THANK U ,, am waiting for this ,,,

*raises hands* I’m still following this XDDDD
“You need to release some singles in a year to prove yourself in Japan music charts”
No wonder they have SO much Japanese singles… I’m going poor because of them.. TT^TT
And Love in the Ice was so early in their Japanese career. 0o I thought it was MUCH later because it was included in their 2008 T album.
Thanks for this DongBangHistory lesson! ^^

I’m always following this~ And I didn’t know that try my love was in their first single! That song was awesome. How could people not notice them! I love Jae’s “Mrrrrrmmmm!” Sexy <3
LITI WAS EPIC. I rewatched it for like 50 over times alr? I was very new to this fandom that time, and LITI was the song that made be realise their singing ability. And yeah, Yoochun's high note! I must say that everyone did really well for that.
And I love "No"!

I follow!! lol. Thanks again for the hard work!!
Loool their Chinese. Speaking of which, their Chinese version of Mirotic is toooo funny. They sound so cute trying to sing Chinese, hahaha And the English rap is LOL.
Poor boys, they had such a rough time in Japan. But I’m glad their hard work paid off. Yay for them! I actually might prefer their Japanese songs to Korean ones… At least, I definitely know more of their Japanese songs than Korean ones (b/c I have yet to listen to explore all songs in Tri-angle, Rising Sun, and O albums but I’ve listened to all their Japanese albums already…) >.< I'll get there soon…
HiYaYa! Bora Bora! Hehe, Junsu's fav vacation spot. <3 I will now go listen to the rest of the single, lol.
