Due to lawsuit from TVXQ, SM Entertainment (SM)’s SMTOWN LIVE’09 Concert was postponed.
On August 7th, SM representative said, “SMTOWN LIVE’09 which will be held August 16 at the Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium will be temporarily postponed,” he said.
With three members of TVXQ are involved in injunction application against SM, it’s impossible to hold a normal concert–as judged by SM–therefore the concert is temporarily postponed.
SMTOWN LIVE’09 main point is a major concert that features harmonization of various stage from all SM families, and the current situation is not applicable to do so. Thus for the sake of quality performance, the decision was made.
“As soon as we open the advance sales for SMTOWN LIVE’09 tickets, there were many good responses from public. We’re really sorry to have to tell all audiences this unfortunate news.” SM said.

me and my friend always talk about SM concert
and we always guessing they will canceled or not but we always optimistic SM concert will goes on
cos the ticket already sold almost 100%
but i was wrong T_T it’s happen
why SM why you not concede to them
if you still continued this case you will got BIG LOSS
cos your big profit came from CASSIOPEIA

i guess sm artistes will not be in a good mood to perform right now since the lawsuit affects the whole co. of sm artistes as majority of them are bound by similar contracts. i hope fans can understand the situation. we’ll just have to wait and give sm time to sort things out between them and their artistes.

I think there’re both good and bad points about it.
If the concert is really held on August , I’m not sure my boys will smile with heavy heart or not.
I wish they could come up the stage (very soon) after everything is settled down and they do really feel happy.
But anyway , I feel a bit disappointed, as I expect to see some amazing things Cassies do for DBSK , wonder what it would be.

the fans of other artists in SM should be aware that the lawsuit of our boys is not just for their shakes but also for other artists’ shake. If they just want to see and hear their idol but don’t care about the hardness the idols are being gone thru, they are the selfish fans. I think SM does this in order to make fans of other artists get angry with our boys and stand on the side of SM. Our boys are doing well their job despite of the lawsuit so it would be no problem to take part in the Concert. This is just the means of media play of SM.
