p.s. just a rough translation, bear for the poor eng.
Korea pop idol group DBSK with an average age of 22 was formed by U-Know, Hero, Micky, Max & Xiah, after their debut in 2003 December, the five-member group has invaded the Japan market.
They stayed in Japan to learn the language & its culture, 2005 April they managed to produce their 1st Japanese Album, from then on they have been managing between Korea & Japan market.
As their status grown firm in Korea, the five decided to stop their activities in Korea in 2007, and focus mainly on the Japan market.
The truth is, DBSK has debut in Japan for only 2 years, from their shocking average progress of 1 single every 2 months, they have collected a total of 26 singles by now, 6 of them has reached the 1st place in Oricon chart, it is the best result for the 1st foreign male artist, last year they managed to perform in the Kohaku.
Last Year 2.2 Billion
Until September last year, DBSK finally released their 4th korean album , receiving almost 50 million piece of sales, successfully conquer their lost land. DBSK has also receive many love from the Asia, the five’s Asia Concert and the participating company’s (dono some pop concert) is a yearly event.
One of the company, SM Entertainment also received a great income because of DBSK, and at the same time promoting Super Junior & Girls Generation etc. they received at least 430 billion won last year, being the highest revenue record.
Unite is the Strenth
DBSK’s work has never stopped, previously members has been injured during preparation for concerts, at the same time also because of their rising of population, they have become target of their fans.
U-Know had to admit to the hospital for drinking glued drink given by an anti-fan, as for Max he has tried being attack by a China fan at the airport.
Since their debut the five have not tried solo promotion, recently Hero with Han Hyo Ju participated in a new drama, this is a project for a rare solo performace.
